Tianyi Flannery, Esq.

As a global citizen, I have lived in Scotland, Shanghai, Vancouver, Orange County, and Denver. With each new location came new opportunities to meet people from diverse backgrounds, tackle unique challenges, and immerse myself in different ways of life. This background instilled a strong sense of adaptability, resilience, and positivity in me, enabling me to work with individuals from all walks of life. Before I started Flannery Law, I worked as the sole juvenile counsel at a large criminal defense law firm in Connecticut. I have also successfully handled infraction, criminal, post-conviction, and DUI matters. I take pride in changing the lives of many of my clients, you can see my case results on this page.

Education

I attended Purdue University, and triple majored in finance, accounting, and management. I graduated in the top quarter of my class.

After college, I received a near full ride from a top 30 law school, and attended the University of Colorado Law School on a majority tuition scholarship instead in order to live in the beautiful state of Colorado. I have worked at the Denver District Attorney’s Office and worked with four judges from the Colorado Court of Appeals, the Colorado 2nd Judicial District District Court, and the Colorado 17th Judicial District District Court.

Legal Strategy

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to emphasize and to care deeply. I chose criminal law because I want to make a long-lasting and positive impact on your life when you need the most legal support. As a first-generation immigrant, I understand how difficult it is to comprehend legal jargon and to deal with administrative hurdles. But you are not alone, as I will be by your side every step of the way. I will help you navigate this difficult process by providing you with excellent customer service and legal advocacy. I am invested in your future, your family, and your dreams.

Cami Alarcon ‐ Founding Senior Paralegal

Hi, I’m Cami. As a senior paralegal with years of experience in Connecticut criminal defense practice, I’m here to make sure you feel supported, respected, and informed during one of the most stressful times of your life. Whether you’re facing a criminal charge or your child is navigating the juvenile justice system, I want you to know that you’re not alone, we’ll walk through it together.

I was raised in Florida in a Spanish speaking family and am fluent in both English and Spanish. That upbringing gave me a deep appreciation for the struggles many families especially immigrants face when dealing with the legal system. I carry that empathy into every case I handle, ensuring that every client feels heard and valued.

As a mom, I understand the weight of worrying about your loved ones and fighting for their future. That perspective has shaped how I work: with patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to help people through life’s hardest moments. I believe in second chances and in seeing each client as more than just a case number.

Outside of work, I’m a passionate person who loves to learn new things and is constantly challenging herself. In my free time, you’ll usually find me baking, spending time in nature, or simply enjoying time with my partner and our child, taking in the small things, like family movie nights, walks with our dog, or just being together.

I’m proud to be part of a team that values kindness, connection, and fairness. This work is deeply personal to me, and I’m here to be a steady, caring presence for every client who decides to be part of our community.
